Polygon Portal Soho London: Inside the New Immersive Listening VENUE
A New Chapter for Soho’s Cultural Landscape
London’s listening culture is evolving, and Soho is once again at the centre of it.
Coming soon to Dean Street, Polygon Portal marks a new chapter for Soho - one that reclaims its position as one of the city’s most vital cultural neighbourhoods, not through noise or excess, but through intention.
Created by Polygon Productions, the Portal is a purpose-built, immersive listening room designed for a new era of music experience. One where sound, space and presence take priority over distraction.
Opening 7 May 2026, this is not simply another venue. It’s a redefinition of how music is encountered and why it matters again.
A Space Built for Deep Listening
At its core, Polygon Portal is a 360° spatial audio environment, powered by a state-of-the-art 17.1.10 sound system. The result is a room where sound is no longer directional, but fully immersive, placing the listener inside the music itself.
Every detail of the space has been engineered and designed to remove friction. Limited capacity, controlled access via Polygon Insider membership, and a design language that prioritises atmosphere over spectacle all contribute to a more focused, intimate experience. This is Fluxx listening as it was intended, deliberate, shared, and immersive.
From Streaming to Experience
Polygon Portal launches at a moment when audiences are seeking more meaningful ways to connect with music. Evening programming reflects this shift, bringing together live performances, album premieres and artist-led sessions that move beyond passive listening into something far more immersive. Landmark records will be reimagined in spatial audio, while exclusive fan events create a sense of intimacy rarely found in traditional venues - enjoy with your friends, family and co-workers.
Featuring artists such as Jeff Buckley, Sigur Rós, Yann Tiersen, Fink, Beth Orton and Public Service Broadcasting, the programme bridges generations and genres through a single, unifying idea: that music deserves attention. Each event is conceived not as background entertainment, but as a cultural moment one that invites audiences to slow down, listen deeply and experience sound in a more considered way.
Where Music Meets Wellbeing
Beyond performance, Polygon Portal introduces a parallel programme focused on wellbeing, recognising the growing intersection between sound and mental, physical and emotional health.
Morning sessions include guided meditation, yoga, breathwork, sound baths and movement practices, reframing sound as something not just heard, but felt, a tool for recalibration in an increasingly overstimulated world.
The space also partners with Nordoff and Robbins, reinforcing the idea of music as both cultural and therapeutic.
The Return of Soho as a Cultural Epicentre
For decades, Soho defined London’s creative identity, a place where music, art and nightlife collided. In recent years, that identity has shifted.Polygon Portal signals a return.
Not to the past, but to something more refined: a Soho built on experience, intention and cultural depth. Alongside a new wave of listening spaces and design-led venues, it forms part of a broader movement reshaping how the city engages with music.
A New Standard for Music Spaces
Polygon Portal is more than a venue. It is a statement. That the future of music is not louder, faster or more visible but more immersive, more considered, and more human.
In a world of constant consumption, it offers something increasingly rare: the chance to truly listen.
