The Best Beach Clubs in Saint-Tropez 2026: Pampelonne, Ranked and Decoded

From fashion-house collabs and tech-house DJs to Italy-by-the-sea and the Riviera’s best family day out, Pampelonne Beach has an answer for every kind of summer.

Pampelonne Beach is about 4.5 kilometres of sand on the eastern side of the Saint-Tropez headland. It became famous in the 1950s when Brigitte Bardot filmed here, and it has never really stopped being famous since. What it has done is evolve: the beach clubs that line it today are not the simple shack-and-sunbed operations of that era, but fully considered hospitality environments with serious kitchens, design identities, curated music programmes and, in some cases, dedicated children’s entertainers. This is one of the most concentrated stretches of good beach-club design in Europe.

July and August are the months when tables at the better clubs disappear weeks or months in advance. Reserve early, arrive on time, and expect to spend more than you planned.

That is the Pampelonne contract, and it is worth it.

Enjoy.

THE FLUXX GUIDE TO ST TROPEZ BEACH CLUBS

Gigi Rigolatto

1050 CHEM. DES BARRAQUES, RAMATUELLE  ·  PARIS SOCIETY  ·  FAMILY FRIENDLY

The one that solved the impossible equation: a genuinely stylish beach club that also works brilliantly for families. Gigi Circus, the dedicated supervised kids’ club, runs noon to 7pm from age five: bouncy castles, trampolines, water games, and considerably more fun than most adults are having at the bar. While the children are occupied, the adults get on with linguine alle vongole, vitello tonnato, grilled octopus and Nocciolata waffles, or Bellini cocktails at the pool. The setting is a pine-shaded property with direct beach access, a Maison Valmont wellness space and the unhurried atmosphere of somewhere that has thought carefully about the shape of a whole day. One of the most completely designed beach experiences on the Cote d’Azur.

Loulou Ramatuelle - CHILLED VIBES

PLAGE DE PAMPELONNE, RAMATUELLE  - PARIS SOCIETY

Loulou Ramatuelle St Tropez Beach Club

The one that earns its place at the top of every list by being genuinely excellent at all of it. Loulou channels the French Riviera of the 1950s through whitewashed timber, boat-sail canopies and lemon-dressed tables that manage to feel both effortlessly casual and quietly sophisticated. Executive chef Benoit Dargere’s Franco-Italian menu is built around sharing: truffle pizza, burrata, whole fish of the day, salade Nicoise and a tarte Tropezienne that is non-negotiable. A house DJ plays throughout lunch; the atmosphere builds gently through the afternoon and by aperitivo hour, tables routinely become a dance floor of their own accord. Gucci and Burberry have both taken up seasonal residence here, which tells you something about the crowd. Book weeks ahead.

Verde Beach - PARTY

PLAGE DE PAMPELONNE, RAMATUELLE  ·  YEEELS GROUP

The insider party pick and consistently the most credible music-forward club on the strip. Verde is deliberately small — the intimacy keeps the energy focused, and the sea is always visible rather than lost behind a wall of people. The boho-chic setting belies a seriously considered kitchen: the produce is taken as seriously as the playlist, which leans deep house and electronic through peak season. Launched in 2019, it became the destination of choice for those who know the difference between a good party and a great one. Mojitos are essential. Reservations are non-negotiable.

Shellona

SOUTHERN END, PLAGE DE PAMPELONNE  ·  EX-ST BARTHS  ·  PARTY

Shellona arrived from Saint-Barthelemy and brought the energy of the Caribbean with it. International DJs play tech house and house music throughout the day; the crowd arrives for lunch and stays for the ride, and the atmosphere by mid-afternoon is closer to Ibiza than Provence. The kitchen runs a Caribbean-inflected Mediterranean line: grilled seafood, tropical ceviche, island-style salads. This is the high-spend option — expect 500 euros or more per person at a table in peak season — but the experience is as complete as Pampelonne offers. The original club in St Barths built the reputation; this one has earned its own.

La Reserve a la Plage

CHEMIN DE L’EPI, PAMPELONNE  ·  LA RESERVE RAMATUELLE  ·  CHILLED VIBES

The beach arm of five-star hotel La Reserve Ramatuelle, designed by Philippe Starck in driftwood-and-linen bohemian elegance. Amber sunbeds, marble-clad bathrooms, a small jewellery and straw bag boutique, and a kitchen by Chef Nicolas Cantrel that delivers Gamberoni ceviche with stracciatella and pistachio, Wagyu sirloin and Veal Milanese with genuine precision. Daytime music is soft and curated rather than DJ-driven. The crowd arrives early, dresses with considered ease, and is in absolutely no rush. The best option on Pampelonne for guests who want the full experience without the crescendo.

Nikki Beach, St Tropez

Nikki Beach St Tropez Beach Club.j

Nikki Beach is the longstanding global-brand entry on Pampelonne, part of the international chain with outposts in Miami, Ibiza and Dubai. The pool is where the party concentrates during the day, with live DJ sets and a reliably high-energy scene that has made it a fixture for a certain kind of summer visitor since its arrival on the Riviera. The food and service are solid if not the most distinctive on the beach, and the crowd tends toward the cosmopolitan and sociable. If you already know and love Nikki Beach from elsewhere in the world, this is the home edition.
